Hoptrail partners with Black Tie Digital to power crypto property purchases across Asia

February 12, 2024

London, UK / Sydney, Australia - 15 August 2023: Hoptrail is partnering with Australia-based blockchain-as-a-service company Black Tie Digital to implement on-chain analytics for institutional real estate buyers in Asia.

“Hoptrail has its origins in crypto source of wealth checks on property transactions, so to partner with Black Tie to expand these tools across Asia is a genuinely exciting opportunity” says Henry Burrows, Hoptrail’s CEO. “Black Tie’s mission to facilitate crypto investors’ access to the property market fits perfectly with our goals of building trust in digital assets through clear, reliable on-chain analytics. We’re very excited to work with Black Tie as they roll out across Australia.”

Under the partnership, Black Tie Digital will leverage Hoptrail’s crypto risks analytics platform and source of funds reporting to ensure effective on-chain onboarding of customers whilst meeting regulatory requirements on enhanced due diligence.  The benefits of the partnership include:

  • Access to Hoptrail’s chain agnostic crypto source of funds and source of wealth reporting.
  • Wallet screening and portfolio risk analysis across more than 300 million tagged wallets on Bitcoin and Ethereum.
  • AML-focused due diligence on thousands of entities and events via Hoptrail’s Leaderboards.

“We’re delighted to be working with Hoptrail. We share very similar goals of simplifying and demystifying Web3 complexities for traditional industries, and it’s great to find partners who understand our vision”, says Jarrad Parke, COO at Black Tie Digital Group. “Their platform precisely serves our needs, with its strong focus on usability without sacrificing depth or complexity, and it helps us ensure our transactional experience – when selling high-value real estate to crypto holders – is streamlined, compliant and secure. We’re very happy to welcome them to the Australian market, and are looking forward to working together.”
